IntraPhone introduces application for Android based Smartphones and tablets
IntraPhone is very proud to announce the first truly multi-platform home care reporting solution on the market. IntraPhone has developed an Android version of their home care application, as a first step in an ambitious program to become the leading “mobile workforce management system” in the home care environment.
This Android version can be used on industry standard Smartphones and tablets, and combine registration, communication and documentation services with planning and access control for home care workers. Thus providing a complete management system for this kind of mobile workforces. It can be used in conjunction with the existing fixed-line telephone application, providing a fitting solution for all kinds of home care staff. IntraPhone has announced that it will support more major platforms in future, giving their customers a choice of tools they want to use.
The new- and existing platforms all share their data with the strong IntraPhone back-end system, allowing easy and efficient management of the workforce. Now workers can receive information on their planned visits to their clients on their Smartphone, including relevant client information and even a route system that shows how to find your way to the next address. This planning information can be either generated by IntraPhone’s own planning tool, or by more sophisticated planning systems from third parties.
IntraPhone also offers locking solutions that enable workers to access the home of the client in a safe and controlled way. These access control system can either be based upon very sophisticated mechanical keys, or on digital keys that are integrated into the IntraPhone system.
What really sets IntraPhone apart is the message service, that together with the powerful LiveText tool enables the staff to document their work using spoken messages and easily transfer information between different staff members, management or close related. The spoken documentation is converted to text by IntraPhone and made part of the client dossier.

IntraPhone and Swedlock make home care saferRecently, several home care clients have been robbed by criminals posing as care workers. The Dutch-Swedish supplier of home care registration systems, IntraPhone, has adopted the access control systems of Swedlock to ensure that this doesn’t occur anymore. Swedlock supplies a range of mechanical and electronic key management systems and -locks that allow home care workers efficient and safe access to the homes of their clients, while preventing abuse by outsiders. "As of March 2011 IntraPhone provides a "total solution on location” for home care: The planning, registration and messaging service of IntraPhone combined with the access control systems of Swedlock ensure that the home care worker can do their work fast, efficient and in all safety" said Martin Bijleveld, CEO of IntraPhone.
